Official sets of 6 stamps from the London 2012 Olympic Games. All unused and each set comes with a watercolour picture drawn by Andy!
Description
Remember the 2012 Olympic Games? Elena and I were in London and the atmosphere here was electric. We don’t usually pay any attention to sports at all, but you couldn’t ignore this event. At first, with the rest of the nation, as the games started slowly we paid it no attention. But after that Saturday when Team GB started the gold rush, we were hooked.
At that time, Royal Mail made what seemed like a snap decision to print stamps for every gold medal winner on Team GB. Swept up by the fever, I went and bought every single stamp set released. I figured that I send so much post that it couldn’t hurt.
However, these days, I can’t bring myself to put these beauties on envelopes, so I want them to go a good home, hence here they are, for your purchase.
In addition to the stamp set, each purchase comes complete with artwork by Andy, coloured in watercolour.
